How to replace the Maintenance Box T6715 / PXMB7

1.   Make sure you have purchased a new Maintenance Box PN. T6715 / PXMB7.

2.   Turn on the printer, and the LCD screen will display the error message "Maintenance Error. The Maintenance Box is at the end of its service life. You need to replace it." Press "Next" to continue replacing the Maintenance Box.

3.   Select "Yes, replace now" to replace the Maintenance Box.

4.   Look at the back of the printer.

5.   Open the printer cover

6.   Take out the full Maintenance Box.

7.   Install our new Maintenance Box.

Note: Don't touch the Maintenance Box Chip during replacement.

8.   Close the printer cover.

9.   Press "Done" to end.

Q: Can the old Maintenance Box be reused?

A: We don't recommend you to use the old Maintenance Box, but if you are in a forced condition because the new Maintenance Box is no longer available in the market, the alternative solution is that you can buy a Maintenance Box Chip Resetter. Here's how to reset the old Maintenance Box with Chip Resetter.

1.   Make sure you have purchased the T6716, T6715, T6714, T3661, T04D0, T04D1, EPMB1, EWMB1, EWMB2, PXMB6, PXMB7, PXMB8 Maintenance Box Chip Resetter

 

2.   Open the Maintenance Box and clean the ink pad inside.

3.   Wash the ink pad thoroughly and dry it. Make sure that the ink pad is completely dry before installing.

4.   Replace the ink pad, then close the Maintenance Box. After cleaning the ink pads, we will then reset the Maintenance Box Chip with Chip Resetter.

5.   Attach the tip of the Chip Resetter needle to the Maintenance Box Chip.

6.   The chip resetter LED will light up red, wait a moment, until the chip resetter LED lights up green.

7.   If the chip resetter LED is green, it means that the Maintenance Box has been successfully reset.

8.   Reinstall the Maintenance Box and turn on the printer.
