Epson L1300, ET-14000 Adjustment Program, Service Manual, Parts List

In this post there are three things that we share, namely Service Manual, Parts List and Adjustment Program. The Service Manual contains important information regarding product details, fault codes, repair, maintenance, product disassembly and assembly, etc. While the Parts List contains information on spare parts of a product, and the Adjustment Program is an adjustment program that is used when one or more printer parts are removed or replaced, so that print quality can be maintained after the installation of new parts. The following is one of the information contained in the Epson L1300 Service Manual.

Adjustment Program Epson EcoTank ET-14000

We do not have an Adjustment Program for the Epson EcoTank ET-14000, but based on the similarity of spare parts (the Parts List document for the Epson L1300 is the same as the ET-14000) it is possible that the Epson L1300 Adjustment Program can be used for the Epson EcoTank ET-14000. Although this has never been tested, you can try it by following these instructions:

-   Download one of the Adjustment Programs above
-   Open AdjProg (1) - Select (2) - Port: select USB port Epson ET-14000 (3) - OK (4). So, in the Model name section: select L1300, and in the Port section: select ET-14000 (don't use Auto selection).

How to use AdjProg Epson ET-14000

Notes:
The use of the Epson L1300 AdjProg to reset the Epson ET-14000 has never been tested before. Please write your experience in the comments column, regarding this.

Questions and Answers

QThere is an error "A printer's ink pad is at the end of its service life" on my printer. If the waste ink pad counter is reset, but the waste ink pad is not replaced or cleaned. Can the printer return to normal?
A: Because the waste ink pad counter has been reset, the printer can be reused, but because the waste ink pad is not replaced or cleaned, in the near future, the waste ink will overflow from the printer because the waste ink pad can no longer hold the waste ink. Resetting the waste ink pad counter becomes effective if the waste ink pad is replaced with a new one.
Waste ink spills out of the waste ink pad assy

Q: How to reset the waste ink pad counter?
A: A complete discussion regarding this problem, please read the following post Epson L1300 A printer's ink pad is at the end of its service life

QError Code: 20000xxx when using the Adjustment Program. What to do?
A: Communication error! Error Code: 20000xxx occurs because the printer is not ready to accept commands from the Adjustment Program because it is still busy processing the previous command.
Communication error! Error Code xxxxxxxx when use Epson Adjustment Program

So when the printer receives the command example Main pad counter - Check, the power light will blink for about 60 seconds. The printer can process the next command example Main pad counter - Initialization after 60 seconds have passed. Communication error! Error Code: 20000xxx occurs because the second command "Main pad counter -> Initialization" is done while the printer is still processing the previous command. So wait for the power light to stop flashing, then run the next command.

When there is damage to the Epson printer and requires replacement of spare parts, after the damaged parts are replaced, then use the Adjustment Program to reset the printer so that it can work optimally with new spare parts. If you are having trouble repairing a faulty printer yourself, we recommend contacting an Epson Authorized Customer Service Center.
