How to Enter Service Mode on the Canon iP3300
- Close the top cover, the printer is off.
- Press and hold the Resume / Cancel button
- Press and hold the Power button (don't release the two buttons)
- Release the Resume / Cancel button (don't release the Power button)
- While holding down the Power button, press the Resume / Cancel button 2 times.
- When finished pressing the Resume / Cancel button 2 times, release the Power button.
- Wait a few moments, the Power LED will flash and light green. If the Power LED turns green, it means that the printer has entered Service Mode.
- If the Power LED continues to blink or lights up orange and flashing, it means that the printer failed to enter Service Mode. Turn off the printer, then repeat the procedure for entering Service Mode correctly.
How to reset waste ink counter when ink absorber full error occurs
How to reset the printer, has to do with what is done with the ink absorber. When the ink absorber is full, repair begins with replacing or cleaning the ink absorber. If part of the ink absorber is replaced, the waste ink counter is reset to 40%. If all ink absorber is replaced, the waste ink counter is reset to zero.
