Canon Pixma iP110 error code [5B00, 5B01]. How to fix it

When the printer is turned on or the printer will print, the printer will clean the print head and make sure the printer is ready to use. When the print head is cleaned, this process produces waste ink that is collected in the ink absorber kit. Ink absorber kit is a waste ink storage pad, which is located at the bottom of the printer machine.

When the waste ink container is full, an error message will appear when the printer is used, namely "Ink absorber full" with error code [5B00]. When this error occurs, the indicator light will flash yellow and orange, alternately 7 times. If this problem occurs, the printer is unusable and must be repaired immediately.

  2. Dp = Platen ink absorber (AW: platen ink absorber away, HM: platen ink absorber home)

  4. If the value of D=100.00 then the Main ink absorber must be replaced or cleaned, after which the Main ink absorber counter must be reset.
  5. If the value of Dp AW=100.0 then the Platen ink absorber must be cleaned, after which the Platen ink absorber counter must be reset.
