How to replace the Maintenance Box T3661 / EPMB1

Replacement of the maintenance box is done when an error occurs "The Maintenance Box is at the end of its service life. You need to replace it". Make sure you have purchased a new maintenance box PN. T3661 / EPMB1. Turn off the printer, then follow the procedure below.

1.   Remove the screws.

2.   Open the lid of the maintenance box.

3.   Remove the old maintenance box.

4.   Install a new maintenance box.

5.   Turn on the printer, the printer will automatically detect the replacement maintenance box. Done.

2.  Clean the ink pad inside.

3.  Dry the ink pad.

4.  Reinstall the maintenance box lid.

5.  Replace the maintenance box chip with a new one.

-  Turn off the printer before performing the above procedure.
-  Make sure you have purchased a new maintenance box chip before performing the above procedure.

-  T3661 / EPMB1 maintenance box chip can be purchased online.

2.   Clean the ink pad in the maintenance box then reset the chip with the T3661 / EPMB1 maintenance box chip resetter.

Notes:

-  First clean the ink pad in the maintenance box (read paragraph above.)

-  Make sure you have T3661 / EPMB1 maintenance box chip resetter.

-  T3661 / EPMB1 maintenance box chip resetter can be purchased in online stores.

-  Align the maintenance box chip to the resetter.

-  Align the seven pins on the resetter with the seven contacts on the chip maintenance box.

-  Press the resetter, the LED light will flash red at first.

-  Press and hold 3-5 seconds, the LED light will change from red to green. Reset completed.

-  Reinstall the Maintenance Box and turn on the printer.
