Entering Characters on the LCD Screen
Way to enter characters for writing Wifi password and other settings.

• To enter letters or symbols, press the buttons on the numeric keypad repeatedly to scroll through
• characters.
• To enter numbers or change the case of letters, press the up or down arrow button.
• To delete the previous character, press the left arrow button.
• To enter a space, press the right arrow button.

Changing LCD Screen Language
You can change the language used on the LCD screen.

• Press the up or down arrow button, select Setup, and press the OK button and you see a screen like this.

• Press the down arrow button, select Common Settings, and press the OK button.
• Press the down arrow button, select Language, and press the OK button.
• Select a language and press the OK button.

Turning Off Control Panel Sounds
You can turn off the sound heard when you press buttons on the control panel.

1. Press the Home button, if necessary.
2. Press the up or down arrow button, select Setup, and press the OK button..
3. Press the down arrow button, select Common Settings, and press the OK button.
4. Select Sound and press the OK button.
5. Select Button Press and press the OK button.
6. Press the down arrow button until the sound is turned off, then press the OK button.
7. Press the Home button to exit.

Adjusting the Screen Contrast
You can adjust the contrast of the LCD screen.

• Press the up or down arrow button, select Setup, and press the OK button and you see a screen like this.

• Press the down arrow button, select Common Settings, and press the OK button.
• Select LCD Contrast and press the OK button.
• Press the up or down arrow button to adjust the screen contrast.
• Press the OK button to exit.

Using the Epson iPrint Mobile App
Use this free Apple and Android app to print to nearby Epson networked products. The Epson iPrint Mobile App lets you print PDFs, Microsoft Office documents, photos, and web pages over a wireless network. You can even scan and save a file on your device, send it as an email, or upload it to an online service such as Box, Dropbox, Evernote, or Google Drive.

For Android Users

• Before connecting to your Epson printer, make sure that both your Android device and printer are connected to the same wireless network.
• Download Epson iPrint from the Google Play.
• Open the Epson iPrint app.
• Tap Printer is not selected. Tap here to select a printer.

• Tap your printer on the Local tab

• Note: If you don't see your printer, make sure your Android device and printer are connected to the same wireless network and tap Search at the bottom of the screen to search again.

For iOS Users

• Before connecting to your Epson printer, make sure that both your iOS device and printer are connected to the same wireless network.
• Download Epson iPrint from the Apple App Store.
• Open the Epson iPrint app.
• Tap Printer is not selected. Tap here to select a printer.

• Tap your printer on the Local tab.

Questions and Answers

Q: Error Code: 20000xxx when using the Adjustment Program. What to do?
A: Communication error! Error Code: 20000xxx occurs because the printer is not ready to accept commands from the Adjustment Program because it is still busy processing the previous command.

So when the printer receives the command example Main pad counter - Check, the power light will blink for about 60 seconds. The printer can process the next command example Main pad counter - Initialization after 60 seconds have passed. Communication error! Error Code: 20000xxx occurs because the second command "Main pad counter -> Initialization" is done while the printer is still processing the previous command. So wait for the power light to stop flashing, then run the next command.

When there is damage to the Epson printer and requires replacement of spare parts, after the damaged parts are replaced, then use the Adjustment Program to reset the printer so that it can work optimally with new spare parts. If you are having trouble repairing a faulty printer yourself, we recommend contacting an Epson Authorized Customer Service Center.
